Overview

Reader Alive is an ebook reader for iPhone and iPad. The app lets you import and read your own books, use reading settings, sync your library with iCloud, and use optional AI features such as translation, text-to-speech, summaries, and book-aware conversations.

Book Files and iCloud

Your imported book files are stored in your app container and, when iCloud is available, in your personal iCloud Documents container for Reader Alive. iCloud sync is handled by Apple under your Apple ID settings.

AI Features

When you explicitly use translation, TTS, voice input, or book understanding features, selected text, relevant book excerpts, voice input, or your questions may be sent to AI service providers to fulfill the requested feature. This data is not used for advertising by Reader Alive.

Data Collection

Reader Alive does not sell your personal data. The app does not include advertising tracking. Data is processed only to provide app functionality, including iCloud sync and optional AI-powered features initiated by you.
